Dwarf Jade Bonsai (Portulacaria Afra) has thick succulent-like leaves which store water, and are more resistant to drought compared to other bonsais. Place next to the window for bright indirect sun. An indoor location or semi-indoor (e.g. balcony) would be fine. Place it at a bright spot next to the window and water it once a week. Admire the movement of the leaves, which open and close. Leaves close when the plant needs to conserve energy, and open when the plant needs to trap sunlight.
